Label text:Parrot named Barnacle Bill who lived from approximately 1930-1990; he was a family pet of the Chisholm’s, 8 Navy Street, Oakville. He was preserved by Chris Blomm, a Biologist at Laurentian University. Barnacle Bill died in 1990, he was 60 years old.
Fun fact: Famous for calling out "Hello Bill" to visitors and passersby, Bill also had a reputation for long-winded chatter, with lots of "oohs" "Yes, yeses" and Uh, huhs", as if imitating one side of a telephone conversation.
