Label text:A.F.A.M stands from Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. There are two types of freemasonry, the other being Free and Accepted Masons (F.A.M.). This split originated when there were two Grand Lodges in England (between 1751 and 1813). Due to a disagreement, the two lodges broke into separate factions. The lodges were later reconnected in 1880; however, lodges still kept the initials of the group who originally found them.
