Label text:Knox Presbyterian Church was originally named The Presbyterian Church, Oakville or Oakville Presbyterian Church. Knox's was started in 1833, with its first service held on the east ban of Sixteen Mile Creek in a small wooden building in April 1833. The current church on Dunn St. was dedicated on May 20, 1888.
