Label text:This tea caddy was originally in the possession of the Right Honorable Laurence Dundas, Lord Zetland and full of tea along with a wooden dressing case, in the care of his Valet, accompanied him on his travels from home on his death at his seat house Aske Hall, Richmond, Yorkshire, this Caddy Dressing Case, Clothing and other small personal effects, came into the possession of his Valet, and at his death in Richmond were sold with a few articles of furniture in the Market Place. Both articles were bought by W. Johnson, apprenticed at the time to cabinet maker in Richmond, in Aug. 1855 and since that time have been in his possession.
