Label text:Daughters of Ellen Cavell (Mrs. Edmund Shane) who with her sister Hannah Cavell made wreath between 1855-60. Made of hair of their father Edward C Mother Mary and other members of the family. Cavells migrated from Cornwall circ. 1840, settled on Upper Middle Road near Clarkson Rd. Born in Cornwall, Elle was between 4 & 6 years of age when brought to Canada (born 1835-36).
