Babbie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her birth name was listed as Paralee Witcher, the same as her mother, on the 1910 US Census records. Her parents were: Arthur Boreman Witcher (born circa 1871 in England) married Paralee Pitts (born circa 1884 in Utah). Arthur was the President of the National Bank, Nevada in 1910.

Babbie Witcher (dob: March, 12 1903-1981) married Ross Alexander Wilson (1898-1966).

From May 1923 to March 1930, Babbie lived at 50 Walmar Road, Toronto.
From 1947 until her death, she lived at 63 Douglas Avenue South and then at 31 First Street in Oakville.
