Label text:Was given to Alice Kerr's (donor's) grandparents at the time of their wedding, 1886; may have been handed down to them through the family.
DescriptionOccasional chair, material is black and different shades of green and red, design of birds and flowers, cushion on back in 3 sections, material on opposite of back in 3 sections, material held in place with may little mails, wood is stained a burgundy-black colour, edge of back and seat are wavy, arm rests curl under at edge, 2 front legs are carved to resemble paws, 2 removeable rockers, rockers have pegs to place into bottom legs.
