DescriptionSet of 10 dinner plates.
a: double indented rim is burgundy coloured with gilt floral and geometric pattern with some raised gilt beading, with gilt band around rim, the centre well of plate is white coloured with gilt band and centre gilt and burgundy geometric design.
b: rim is burgundy colour decorated with gilt line on edge, inside the line, two further sections of gilt banding, geometric and spray pattern, well of plate decorated with gilt line & spray pattern, centre of well, two narrow gilt lines, centre of well is white with wide band ivory colour.
c: double indented rim decorated with gold line, rim & partly down into well, ivory colour decorated with cobalt blue flowers & leaves interspersed with 6 small gold sprays, centre of well decorated with hand painted florals consisting of pink rose with green leaf and several other smaller flowers, this is circled with two narrow gold lines, unglazed foot rim.
d: double indented rim has double gilt band with dontil gilt edge with gilt vermicelli decoration and cobalt blue zig zag bands with small pink roses, plate well is white with outside gilt banding.
e: double indented rim edged with gold line, narrow gold inner line, 4cm wide beige band decorated with all-over gold coloured lacy design, centre of well decorated with painted floral spray-one pink rose and rose bud surrounded by several other flowers & green leaves, this surrounded by narrow gold line & dagger edge.
f: double indented rim edge with gilt band with inner line of gilt, with 4cm wide green band decoratedwith all over green lacy pattern, the centre of the well is decorated with floral painted spray with rose, rosebud and other flowers and leaves surrounded by gilt band & dagger edge.
g: double indented rim, ivory colour, edged with narrow gold line, rim has cobalt blue scalloped pattern, scallops decorated with gold shield shaped pattern, inner part of ivory rim edged with two narrow gold lines, balance of plate white, undecorated.
h: double indented ivory rim edged with gilt with inner band of gilt and gilt scroll & leaf repeated pattern with green grapes, white plate well has 2 outer gilt bands.
i: double indented rim has narrow gold line, rim of plate is ivory bordered with turquoise enamel band at outer part, inside this is black leaf decoration. interspersed with diamond & circle shapes in red or yellow enamel, inner narrow gold line, well of plate is white china decorated with basket of assorted flowers in enamel colours of turquoise and yellow with green leaves all surrounded by leaf stringing.
j: double indented rim with gilt edging & cobalt blue band & gilt floral & net decoration, centre of plate well is a white circle with outer gilt band, outer plate well is ivory colour (which extends beyond well to plate rim) & has outer gilt double bands with continuous pattern of geometric leaves.
